the sound sysytem is great. not mind blowing by any means but very good. i listen to a lot of hip hop, and im used to adding 12 inch subs and amps in the trunk, but this was the first car that i havent had to do that to. the best part about bose is that it sound great loud, very clean no distortion. but also it sounds great at low volume levels, something that other stock setups rarely achieve.

From what I have heard the BMW sound systems dont have great bass but everything else is good that is why you see lot of BMW's with subs

...the bass might not have distortion, but with stock speakers it causes annoying interior panel rattles on most music

Agreed. I've had both and Bose is better imo.

    good luck.
first you gotta find locate the noise. thats the hard part. but generally speaking if you make something heavier, it will stop rattling. heavy magnets, might help. just remember to remove them at the drag strip, otherwise they'll hurt your ET's. j/k.

i have dynamatted alot cars. its locating the rattles and individually dealing with each one. also on our cars there are places that need it most. look me up if you need a install.
