    This is a really stupid question but, is there any difference between an inline 6 and a v6 ? i know the shape of it is, but im wondering about which is better on gas and has better power. and for everyone that answers without being an a$$.. thank you

    The size for one. THe V6 is smaller than the inline. I would think weight also, V6 being lighter.

    actually was wondering myself too... i think it has to do with injection and cams and stuff.... basically a different layout... but thats about as much as i kno....

    inline usually makes more power

    Inline 6 has more torque, it has less power loss because its a singol unit, sometimes the V engines make the car rock more when you gas it, just because its shape...
    BMW and some old american cars have the 6 cylinder in line engine style.
    Everyone else who mounts a 6 cyl its a v6.
    I like inline 6 better..v6 is like two engines together, my point of view is that sometimes doesnt work as well....
