    Brake pad sensors

I just ordered some EBC green stuff brake pads and they came with what look like brake pad sensors, but I dont think I have sensors. There are two wires coming out of one of the pads and a plug on the end. The box says they are for 96-98 A4s and shows a picture of the pads with the wires. Are these the correct pads? When it comes time to put them in and I find that I dont have brake pad sensors would it do any harm to just cut the wires off of the new pads and install like normal?

    I have a 98.5 A4 1.8TQM

Splice the oem wires if your not going to use the new sensors to complete the circuit. Tape them off when done.
