    How else would you like for the to figure out a winner, flip a coin, just keep playing till someone wins(not like a football game last too long anyways?

    I'd rather see overtime for the golden goal. Not a fan of Penalty shots in Football or Hockey.

    i agree. even though my team won, i never like going out like that.

    not a fan of the silver goal. should have kept the rules as Golden Goal.

    definately sudden death. if not for the sake of the game, then for the sake of the goalies. i play ice hockey goalie. and ending a game in a shootout is the single most stressful thing in the world. i've experienced some stressful real life situations (death, near death, school/biz stuff) and nothign compares to the heart pounding/heart attack feeling that i get whenever i'm in a shootout situation. it just sux, until u win, then it's the single greatest feelign in the world

    If you notice, only faster paced, not to many stops, type of games have sudden death(Hockey, Soccer, other i just can't think of any)
