I've got a flip-out Alpine installed. Looks good both open or closed.

The trouble with the S4's is that once you install a in-dash dvd player one needs an adapter for the speakers to work. A buddy of mine has the touch pulse dvd screen and he had to change all the speakers to work with the in-dash dvd player. I am not a mechanic but all I am trying to say is that it looks easier than it is. Just ask before you decide to do anything. Good luck and let me if you decide to still go through with it.

Not true. The guy who installed mine bypassed the aftermarket headunit's amp and utilized the stock Bose amp to power the interior speakers. Then I have a Fosgate amp that powers my sub. If you know somebody who knows what their doing, you def. do not have to replace the Bose speakers.
