19x9.5 with Race will the RUB?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am getting some AXIS supermesh in 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear with 235/35/19 tires. I am getting it droped the same day i pick up the rims but i do not know if i want to go with the race springs or the sport springs due to rubbing issues. Basicly will the 9.5 rub in the rear with Race springs or do I have to go with sport springs. I have read that they rub and then some people say they dont.

i have that set up on my car and don't have any rubs. but my offset is different. i believe mine is 35 rear. i have coilovers and probably a quarter of an inch gap, almost no gap. i also run 30/265 tires in the rear. 40 offset might be to much for the car. you also have to run at least 265/30 in the rears, this is the advice of Guy from HRE, as he has done plenty of staggered set-ups for our cars and VDubs. you have to keep the rolling diameters the same. so front 8.5 run 35/235 and rear 9.5 30/265.
again giving your car a staggered setup and making it work with out rubbing has to do with the right offset. just like what saturnine said. hope it works out for you cause the set up is pretty sick...

this would be a tough one.
front 19x8 should be no problem with et 32. you'll run 35/235 series tires.
rear 19x10 I think the et should be 35 not 40, and you will have to run 30/265 series tires. your back wheel will stick out about 8-10mm.
looks sick. and i have seen this set up done. rubbing i don't know but i've seen it done looked so sick and super pissed .
aggressive... you'll really have to ask around who has this exact setup. good luck if you do go through with it.
