I'd like to begine the install of my KO4 turbo but I'd like to know what parts off the KO3 should I replace, such as gaskets, mounting bolts and the like. ANyone know what parts I should replace when installing the KO4? Audi part numbers would be helpful

You need to replace the Mani-->Turbo Gasket, the 2 banjo fitting washers, oil return/send gaskets and depending on how good yours is, the turbo-->cat gasket..

You can reuse most of the bolts, but you might have to get new studs for the turbo, since the stock ones can be hard to get out..

I have the turbo plus a stage II Wett chip told to expect ~240 hp/251 ftlbs, I have ot install my Greddy G2 so I expect slightly mor plus a CAI as well. I'm hoping about 255 hp if I'm lucky.

    No injectors? No FRP upgrade?

    Wetterauer makes K04 software?

yep wett makes it, straight from the sales rep in Valparaiso, IN.

And the FPR is sufficient for a Stage II but above that (Stage III+) should have it replaced so says Billy @ BBRSportsline

tough to say. I drove back with a friend and he had a .08 bar chip in with his K04 cause his ECU with K04 chip hick-uped... he let me drive it and it pulled better than just the chip on the highway, yet without his full benefit of the K04 software and the new turbo was less than.
My car screams with the K04 and GIAC K04 software, a big FMIC and much other items done as well. I have the 5 bar FPR vs the injectors. I am DAMN HAPPY! I waited and bought all my stuff on Group Buys or with dealer pricing and saved bucks rather than buy a whole kit. If your wait and buy when things happen you can save! Matirx and AWE are similar (not in pricing though, keep in mind I have a dealer tax ID) to what I did plus a little more. Their kits and customer service are VERY GOOD overall - nice people to deal with!! :0) :0)
Bottom line is that it will push a higher volume of air, yet it would not be as advantageous as running the software with it and 5 bar FPR or injectors!

    255, I don't see that happening...

    No FPR ?

I wish you luck, but it's better sticking to a proven package...
