    I think I know what you're talking about.

    most people don't know this, but when upgrading to big brakes, you're suffering more driveline loss.

    I've heard, anywhere from a 3-7% loss in hp, as tested using a chassis dyno.(your flywheel hp is the same) basically, you're increasing the diameter, & moving the moving the moment of inertia further out, requiring more effort to get it rolling.
    but we all know how dyno's are.
