    Exclamation HID Conversion Kits...Update...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
HID Conversion kits for sale for halogen H7 and xenon D2S headlamps.

    The Conversion kits include:

2 xenon bulbs, ~2500 hr life span

2 water resistant ballasts with igniters

    Wiring harness with waterproof connectors

    Ballast mount and accessories

The kits are plug and play, so you don't have to cut or splice any wires.

The kit will come with instructions on how to install the ballasts into your headlamps including a 1 year warrenty.

Here are some pics of my install:

I removed my headlamps, and on the underside of the headlamp is where the stock HID system is mounted. This is where you can mount these ballasts.

I placed a bracket to hold the ballast using the existing screw holes for the stock hid ballast.

Just to show you that no wires need to be cut, the ballast connects to the existing wires from your headlamp.

Here's a pic of the xenon bulb and this is an H7 bulb that will fit directly in your H7 halogen slot...no mod needed.

You can cut a small hole for the wiring harness to pass through the headlamp from the bottom where the ballasts mounts or you can cut a hole in the back of your cover and pass the wires through there. I have the latter set up because I was running a diff. system before so didn't want to make any more holes in my headlamp...I also have not had any condensation buildup in my headlamp either.

Here's a pic of the setup installed completely.

5300K kits and 6000K kits are going for $250 plus $15 for shipping.

If you need more info, please email me at [email protected]

Also installed an HID kit in my fogs...Looks sick...pics to come soon...

Hey...wassup...thought you were coming out the the meet this past weekend...???

I could have shown you the setup and we could have tried out the bulbs I have on your kit.

Anyway...I believe that might work out for you...I can get replacement bulbs for you for $75 each for 5300K or 6000K.

the 10000K and 12000K go for $100 each...

let me know if you want to try it out...we can test it if you like before you buy them...I'm in nyc...

If your phillips ballasts has the same connectors it shouldn't be a problem.

    let me know

Very nice write up I would say.

Are they the same kit as your previous post at:

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...threadid=10766

The reason I asked because I have seen that you now lowered the price of the kit. I wonder if it is the same kit that you had.

You changed the price of the kit from $300 to $265 shipped and the replacement bulb from $100 to $75 which is a good thing for a lot of members here.

You would make some sale for the good price I am sure.

Are you also selling replacement D2S bulb at the same price too??
I think some members here would want to get higher color temp replacement bulb for their car without switching anything else.

My OEM bulb would get pricey when it hit 5000K and 6000K.

So just a suggestion to you.

Yes...I did lower the price since you're selling the stock rs6 and A8 HID's for a great price...I'm trying to make business and That's about the lowest I could go, otherwise it would not be worth it at all and I'll just buy the kits for myself and friends.

The lower prices were for the guys who were coming out to the Rutgers meet, but most of them didn't show...

I can get replacement D2S bulbs...not as good as osram or phillips, but they work great IMO...deep blue 10000K and violet 12000K are going for $100 each. For now the 5300K and 6000K bulbs are going for $75.

I'm selling at these prices for now, but I'm going to raise them soon back to 300 for the 5300K & 6000K, 350 for the 8000K, 400 for the 10000K and 12000K.

Would these work in my S4 Xenon housings? I think someone already asked this question, but would they work w/o any cutting? Will the D2S bulb holder fit because the RS6 kit's bulb holder is too big.

It should fit just fine because it's just the bulb and not the bulb and igniter...The igniter in this kit is incorporated with the ballast.

I can get a D2S kit that will fit just fine in your housing...

The math don't quite adds up here...you mentioned that 1 D2S bulb is $75 when a pair is $175?? unless that special price is temporary

Im curious. What are the incentives of buying your kit over ProtocoID's kit? I mean yours is aftermarket and his is OEM. Is it worth sacraficing 30 bucks to go non OEM?

You could do that and it will work, but it will no longer be a waterproof connection. This is done at your own risk if you do that...I would not be responsible if something were to go wrong with your ballasts or if your bulb were to blow out.

You could also cut the wires and attach new connectors...

I guess it's a question you would have to ask some one who has ProtocoID's kit.

My kit is a conversion kit designed for those who don't have an oem HID set up.

ProtocoID has also solved this problem for those who don't have an HID set up by providing an H7 adapter for the D2S bulbs...

The thing is I can produce a kit for any type of bulb you require.

I installed the kit in my car and loved it...I'm trying to share that with everyone else and also trying to make some money as well...

I can also provide different color temperatures if anyone is interested.

In any case it's hard to compete with ProtocoID's kits since their OEM, but when I originally posted my kits for sale, I did not know who he was, nor did I know that he was selling oem kits for such a price...

No. there's no point since the light won't be focused at all. Just buy 2piece projectors, they aren't that expensive on ebay. But there's no point in installing them behind the reflector housings
