    A group of A4 gangs in my country custom made the FMIC and here is the size for your consideration ;

    300mm x 125mm x 48mm and it fit our stock bumper pretty good.

    I'm not sure if you guys aware it or not, autoparts are one of the fastest growing industry in Asia. Most core is made in either Thailand or PRC, China. As I lived in the Asia Region, it is an easy access for us to go to the factory directly to order the core we are looking for plus the size as well. Concivebaly, you should know how much cheaper we can get as minimize all transportation fee plus middle men involvement.

    Also, Japanese core is very popular in here as there are many GTR, EVO VII, Subaru on the street and those are turbo base engine plus the fact that, all tunning companies are making bigger aftermarket core for replacement. We have different sizes available and if you have the extra time to keep trying and thus, you will find something to suit our Audi's demand. The core size above is the OEM size of Japanese car which still have stock in the market.

    You can get the core on ebay, I'm not sure about the quality though.

    That would be cool if that dude had a 2.5" tubing kit, i wouldnt wanna do 2"..

    I was looking at a 23x6x3 spearco core on ebay.. i emailed the seller asking about the pressure drop, and he said it only had .9 psi drop.. Not to shabby

    From my "research" i think a decent size would be about 20-22"x 6-8" x 2-2.5" including end tanks.. A 3" thick core wont fit behind the stock bumper..

    Saturnine,

    This is the reason why we only use 48MM thick core. The factory is using the same siza they produced for BMW E46 supercharge engine by G-Power.We will install the FMIC in our A4 by next week and will post picture for sharing.
