KTR Performance
Last year we had a nice group of 4-5 cars leave from NJ, and ended up with 15+ by the time we got to Hartford CT. It was a great drive up, and a fun kicked back event. Everyone should come out, its always a nice show. You'll even have time to ask & talk about whatever with the tuners, since it won't be as mobbed as Waterfest.
If anyone is interested in driving up, and wants to follow us, here are the details.
Like last year...we'll meet at the Montvale Rest Area on the GSP. (around exit 170) The rest area is a left exit, since it's in the center median. You can't miss it.
We'll try to meet there at 6:30-6:45am. We want to leave no later than 7:00am from there.
If you want to meet us along the way up,(if you're in NY or CT or MA), please post where(exit #) we can stop & wait for you.
From the Parkway, we'll take 87/287 to the Tappan Zee Bridge.
After crossing the bridge, we'll stay on 287, and take exit 9n for the Merritt Parkway North. (if you're in CT, let us know where to stop if you want to join in)
From the Merritt, we'll jump on 91 north in Meriden CT.
Stay on 91N until we're in Hartford and then take 84 east.
Stay 84e until the end and we'll hit the Mass Pike.
From the Mass Pike, take exit 11a - 495 north
From 495, exit 29B Rt. 2west.
KTR has detailed directions on their site from Rt 2., so we'll just follow these.

If you have a 2-way radio....great. It just makes keeping the group together easier. If not, someone may have an extra to lend you.
Not to mention its fun to BS while driving up there, it makes the trip go by quick. =)
