    Opinions...?

Still debating what to do here so I ws looking for some advice...

Currently own a B5 S4, 63k for miles, Tip.. unmoded except for exhaust and some cosmetics. CPO warranty good till July. For my commute I do 20k per year! Love the car even though it's the first auto sporty car I've owned.

Thinking of getting a B7 A4. Wanted to know what you guys thought about the following:

    2.0 vs. 3.2 engine?!

S-line...worth the 3k or not?! Sport suspension, bigger wheels and tires, badging.... is that it? Are the seats different?

Guess that is it for now.

Compliments to the white A4 with BBS wheels on here and the black one with the SSR's! Sweet rides!

    Re: Opinions...?

sline really isnt that important. if you have the cash to spare then go for it. otherwise just get the sport spring upgrade and call it a day.

    Re: Opinions...?

I can report that I love the 3.2. Smooth power output and it never seems to be working hard. I've driven a few 2.0 loaners and I certainly had no complaints with them. All things equal I'd take the 3.2, but honestly I didn't have a preference when I was in the market. I'd recommend driving both under equal conditions to see which you prefer. Good luck!

as far as the engine goes, its up to you. you want smooth consistent power of a V6 or peppy torquey turbo? the 2.0 has mounds more modding potential.

as far as sline, you get diff front and rear bumpers, a diff front grill, side skirts, badging (who cares) leather seating, sline steering wheel, aluminum trim inside, chrome trim around the doors, moonroof, 18" 5 stars w/ all season performance tires, and sport suspension. i think that's it. check out the audi website if i missed something.

    Re: Opinions...?

If you're modding the engine at all.....2.0T

    The rest are personal preference.
If you're going to drop it on aftermarket springs or coilovers, then don't worry about what suspension it comes with.
If not, then just get Sport Suspension and be done with it.
Grab the leather interior - everything else (almost) can be added / altered later if you choose.

    Re: Opinions...?

Thanks for the feedback guys!! I will be looking to drive both of these soon. I have only driven the tiptronic B7 A4 as my loaner. Looking to see the difference between the two motors.

    Re: Opinions...?

If you don't plan on modding.. 3.2!
    Modding, 2.0T.

S-Line looks way nicer if you don't want to go crazy with exterior build.
I would have gotten it if I had $
    Rest is up to you.
