That's interesting about the A3/GTI.
Many US publications write that the 2.0 in the GTI/A3 are the same and those cars/engines list a 10.3:1 compression, not the 10.5:1 as is used in the A4 2.0FSI.
I did find a C&D blurb claiming the GTI has 10.5:1 and even C&D posts 10.3:1 as well.
Also, the 2.0 in the A4 is listed as 207lb ft. of torque at 1800-5000rpm, nice smooth torque curve.
Where does the chart posted in this thread come from?
