    You said guys with hybrid turbos were running 30psi, but then admitted that they weren't holding that much boost to redline. I responded by saying that running 30psi of boost on a spike is no big deal and can be seen with K04s and possibly with K03s. The point here is that boost seen on a spike does not have an effect on high RPM horsepower.

    When did I say I was putting RS6 hybrids in my S4?

    hahahha,first you said $3500 more then k04`s then $3k more and now its $2200?????????????????????????????go and look i said k04`s with hot side mods $2500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    if you buy k04`s at group buy like i did it will cost you $1200 to convert to rs6`s!!!!!!!!!!! i know cause i asked jacob after i got the turbos from jeremy.so that comes out to $3100 for rs6`s WITH HOT SIDE MODS compared to PLAIN $1900 for k04`s.now the difference is $1200!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Wrong again. I never said they cost $3500 more than K04s.

    Your post here stated that the "rs6hybrids are Around $3600 with all the hotside mods" and I proved you wrong yet again by posting information taken directly from Buehn's website showing they are $4220, not $3600 or $3100 like you are saying now.

    You have great difficulties with basic mathematics and/or keeping your incorrect information straight.

    How many times can one person be wrong in a single thread?

    Please refer to my post detailing the cost of the RS6 hybrids with hotside mods vs OEM K04s. It contains links with REAL information. The difference is $2,200+. Again, this premium over OEM K04s cannot be justified due to the fact that both sets of turbos produce about the same power when both are pushed to their limits.

    Port/Polish: $250 (for both)
    Extrude Hone: $250 (for both)
    Ceramic Coated Turbine Housings: (200 for both)
    Clearanced Turbine Housings: ($220 for both)

    thats another $920 to the k04`s,now the k04`s are $2900 and the rs6`s are $4200 with the same hot side mods

    Nowhere in this thread did I or anybody else talk about adding hotside mods to K04s until you brought it up out of nowhere when you noticed that you were misinformed on several points. The argument was that RS6 hybrids with the costly hotside mods do not produce anymore power than OEM K04s when both are pushed to their limits. That was the comparison. Adding hotside mods to K04s would also be a waste of money.

    I made my case and backed it up with examples and proof. I.e., DAP vs similarly modded hybrid S4s with hotside mods on the same dyno with the same custom tuning; the K04s vs hybrids with hotside mods price breakdown, etc, etc. Despite your insults, profanity, misinformation, and use of non-pertinent information, I have proven my case and the author of this thread agrees that OEM K04s are the way to go. Mission accomplished. Now let's move on with this thread folks and discuss what his best fueling solution might be.

    haha just cant admit your wrong even when you bust out with numbers proving yourself wrong.i want you to admit rs6 turbos even with over $900 in hot side mods dont cost $3k+ more then plain k04`s bought from a group buy.be a man for once in your life and admit you were WRONG.YOU will be better for it and feel better about it.

    I wouldnt think the tuning was the same, i would think the customers car would be tuned on the safer side, and probably the employees car tuned much more aggressively. Im not sure Paul's car was maxed out, and we dont know the boost ran in either car, so it's hard to say for sure. I believe Paul said he was running around 22-24psi to make the 50Xwhp, race gas, open dumps... He actually said he runs more aggressive timing on the race gas tune, but a couple lbs less boost. Either way, there are way too many variables to compare these two cars...

    DAP wasn't actually an employee of EPL at the time his car was tuned by Tony.

    Paul also has the Revolver Cams whereas DAP runs stockers.

    the revolvers are a great mod, even better ill bet for the larger turbos as they spool FAST.
