good news everybody Mike from unitronic came to my house today and we ran the engine..I have only 2 codes wich are maf and lambda sensors that are not connected..The good news are that my timing is dead on and all the other sensors are fine..The no vacuum read is due to the cams...Monday the car is going to a friend's shop that specializes on custom exhaust..the 034 dp will be modified and exhaust will be done then the following week will start tuning the car

If the cams have to much duration, you will not have any intake manifold vacuum pressure.

On old school muscle cars you need to run a vacuum pump on high duration camshafts.

Yes but there aren't any cams for our cars that will cause that unless they are set wrong. If he isn't getting a vacuum reading in the intake manifold wouldn't this mean he is sucking in exhaust thru the exhaust valves?


Even with my Schrick turbo cams I still get a 15-18 in HG vac reading.

the vacuum was too weak and the diverter valve wouldn't open,I had the strongest spring in the valve, so the turbo was blowing air into the motor on iddle..I have changed the spring in the valve but I have to test it...My timing is perfect

Love how you have that dump valve reroute exahust back in from the wastegate . Most just have it dump in the atmosphere which is quite noisey.

no not yet I'll have the pipe back from ceramic coat wednesday and then may be next week we start tuning it..The exhaust barks, it is loud but the car was inside and running like shit so I can't have a final conclusion yet

I test drove thcar 2 days ago for a few hours...Up to 4k there is nothing, the boost slowly creeps to about 10 psy then when you reach abot4500 it comes hard ijn a split second, the neddle of the boost gauge jumps to 25 then stabilizes at about 22...I runned it on the apr tune so I tried to avoid hiting it , I let go at about 6k and never stayed in high boost more than a second or 2..The down side is that the down pipe hits the strut tower and I am fed up with it, I am now looking at other options for a manifold even may be a log type since it would be nice to wake that turbo up sooner
BY the way I got a ride in the white Audi tt fromunitronics That thing rocks A vr6 3.2 with a gt40 good for about 500hp at 16psi it's fuckin insane..They have to put a roll cage in it because it's twisting the body

BY the way I got a ride in the white Audi tt fromunitronics That thing rocks A vr6 3.2 with a gt40 good for about 500hp at 16psi it's fuckin insane..They have to put a roll cage in it because it's twisting the body

I know man I talked to the guys at Waterfest theyre so funny... The guy said he was hammered, got into the GT25 S4, launched it, and realized he was in Reverse lol.... Then he said he put it in 1st and launched it and fused the clutch lol

Anyway he said the TT on like 16psi pulled on the GT25 S4 at 25psi... Thing sounds rediculous he said when they put it on the dyno it had 500whp and was spinning the rollers so they couldnt push it any more

hahaha here we do it different...Unitronic mike told me he can tune them whithout the maf, he found a way to disable it...by the way the tt is on the oem computer, it's a complete sleeper sounds totally banal until u press on it and it sounds anal

I know Jeff has been having problems keeping his 38mm tial wg from creeping open with his 3071R. I'm not sure though what spring pressure he's running on it...
