I heard it is not good for the towels to go in dryer especially on high heat. I would assume she used high heat. Are these towels trash? Any way to tell?

Should be fine, now the bigger question is did she put in a dryer sheet? If so you have to rewash.

    microfober's not that fragile...

putting them in the dryer is fine, the heat's not going to be high enough to melt them. besides, the static that builds up is a good thing to help attract dust.

it's other things in the dryer with the mf that clogs it, like dryer sheets or lint.

2nd , should not be a problem at all, unless the dryer/fabric softner went into it.

3rd. I've always dried mine, although I time it to take them out when they're still just a bit damp. Reduces the static cling as well as the weird MF feeling against your fingertips.
