Audi A6 C6 Catalytic converter

Hi all, I want to buy a test pipe and downpipe kit that’s fit for a C7 A6, as I’ve heard the C6 A6 has the catalytic converter and downpipe welded together, I want to know if I remove the current cats and resonators replacing them with test and downpipes, can the test pipes of a C7 A6 be mounted to the engine of a C6? I did some digging trying to find pictures, I believe to engine to cat mount is the same shape even if not the same size. Is there a way to make this possible? Or will it never fit to my car as a previous generation.
I have also attached a picture of the downpipe and test pipes set. The test pipes look similar to what I could find for the C6 A6, but seem to have different gasket points at the downpipe and test pipe intersection.

They C7 downpipes will not fit the C6 generation. Honestly your best bet would be to use JHM resonated downpipes.
I purchased the non-resonated due to the lower cost but, there is a lot of rasp and will need a resonator added to tone it down.

I understand the downpipes won’t fit, but will the test pipes? They seem to look the exact same as what would go on my car, I just don’t know what to do as I’m trying to build an exhaust but JHM seems a bit quieter than what I was going for. Call me childish but I was going to put on the test pipe and downpipe, and either leave the resonators and mufflers or go full straight pipe past the downpipes, depending on how loud it is with the mufflers still on. JHM seems like a good option but does that go all the way past the old cats, or will I have to buy test pipes/cats to keep it connected to something? All in all I want the stock catalytic converters gone immediately and want the loudest route. I was told these attached test pipes would fit, but want advice on the next exhaust part to buy if I do get them. My end goal is a stage 1 or maybe even 2 tune if I can get pulleys and a heat exchanger, and I want to achieve natural crackles since they don’t make crackle tunes for this generation A6let me know if JHM would still work for this, or if I’m asking too much, thanks!

I am going to do my best to show that these do not work lol
This shows about where the C6 exhaust bolting location is compared to say an S4. (I marked in red roughly where the A6C6 generation mounts up)
(There is more evidence of this issue on the JHM picture, it extends about 4 to 6 inches up to the headers on the motor
The test pipes that you listed don't have the length to reach the header and do not have the correct geometry.
I also reached out to JHM to confirm that similar test pipes would not work
As for the sound, all I can say is good luck. This platform is very hard to get sounding good without drone or rasp
When I first did my exhaust I went with the JHM non-resonated down-pipes without cats, no resonators, and OEM mufflers -- the drone at any speed/RPM is unbearable and honestly sounds like
I then changed it with adding a MagnaFlow X-pipe resonator to quiet it down and remove the drone mostly -- this is my current setup and on long drives it eventually gets old
I can see if I have an old sound clip of it before I did the X-pipe

If you have a local exhaust shop that makes their own piping you should be able to have them fabricate some stainless test pipes that match your converters for quite cheap... They may not install them for you, but most shops I've encountered will make them.
