2009 A4 Avant Premium Plus in Brilliant Red

124,409 miles (28K on new engine)

    VIN: WAUGF78K89A075187

    Price: $10K OBO

Background: Owned the car the last 10 years. Purchased in November 2014 with ~54K Miles. Clean 2-Owner car that spent the first part of its life in Boston, MA. Majority of the 65K miles I’ve added were put on before COVID and were highway. Maintenance has stayed up to date and the car has had some upgrades added. Engine was replaced in 2018 (96K miles) due to oil consumption (a common problem with the CAEB engines installed in A4/A5/Q5). New engine had only 600 miles and was from a 2015 Audi A4, engine code CPMA. Engine does not emit smoke nor burn any oil. Car has been in one minor accident back in 2019 where repairs were done at Stutgartt Autobody in Arvada, CO through insurance claim. Hood, bumper cover and bumper were replaced, no structural damage - can provide pictures upon request. ECU has a Stage 1 software tune. I have all paperwork from shop work and a log of maintenance/upgrades with corresponding mileage.

The front of the car recently had a complete respray done under warranty by the body shop. They removed the hood, bumper and front fenders, stripped the paint and resprayed with clear coat to match. The front is flawless since I haven’t really driven the car since the work was done.

    Maintenance (Major)
•Oil changes every 4-5K; Liqui-moly 5W-40 and Mann Oil Filter
•New Engine @96K; included new turbo, alternator, and starter (anything that was bolted to engine was installed minus the a/c compressor). A/C compressor is original.
    •Air/Fuel Filters
    •Transmission and Rear Differential Fluids
    •Spark Plugs/Coil Packs
•Brake Pads, Rotors, Fluid; Front Calipers are Porsche 4-pot
    •Front Control Arms
•Power Steering Hose and Air Bag (TSB)
    •CV Axle Boots – Outer
    •Windshield – Audi Pilkington glass

    Upgrades etc.
•Euro Tail lights; LED with Amber Turn Signal
    •Stage 1 ECU Tune
    •Side Blades/Stone Guards
    •Window Tint – 10%
    •Hotchkis F&R Sway Bars
    •Vogtland Coilovers
    •TR8 High Flow Intercooler
    •High Flow Intercooler Pipe
    •AFE Dry Filter
    •Whispbar Roof Rack
•New Headlight Lenses; Philips Ultinon HID Xenon Bulbs; ZKR-W bulb lenses; LED front turn signals (error-free)
    •Honeycomb grill’ honeycomb fog grills
    •Weathertech cargo floor mat
•19” Peeler-style Wheels with newer Yokohoma tires (-5000 miles)
•Porsche 4-pot Front Calipers ; EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads; EBC slotted rotors
    •Wheel Spacers – 10mm Front; 8mm Rear
•Brand new Battery – have receipt for warranty

    Known Issues
•Sunroof – Glass still opens but not in the intended fashion. Turning the button does nothing to open it, only the tilt button will allow it to open/close. The sunshade is stuck, I’ve tried moving it back and forward to no avail. I believe the fabric came off the roller since you can still hear the motor engage. Mechanic says it’s a rabbit hole with these sunroofs and recommended not to mess with it since it can be into the thousands with labor. The whole unit typically has to be replaced, they can’t just fix the parts based on design.
•Keyhole to Start Car – occasionally the key gets stuck and won’t disengage when car is turned off. This is a known issue but it happens so rarely I haven’t bothered to fix it. Just have to renegage the key to accessory and it will usually pop out after
•Paint – rear bumper is fading, some chips above windshield
•HVAC Blower Motor – usually 1x every cold season the blower stops working. All I have to do is pull the fuse and reinsert and then it works fine.
•Passenger Front Caliper – The face of the caliper was scraped up when the spare tire was put on the front. No damage, functionally is fine. I have the paint (G2) to repaint it along with the matching Brembo sticker
•Front Seat Bolster – leather is torn on side. All functions work otherwise.

Includes both sets of keys. Any questions please ask, I want to be 100% transparent. Car has been a blast to work on and drive but a growing family demanded a larger vehicle - I would keep the Avant otherwise.

Asking $10,000 OBO. Message Ryan if interested. I will gladly provide a passing emissions certificate to the new owner (as required by law) but will require a $50 down payment to cover my time.
