My left e-brake cable slipped off of the wheel that both cables connect to under the e-brake. Attached is a picture.
The cable itself looks fine. I tried getting a hook on the cable end however the side wall is close enough to the wheel so there is not enough room for the cable to slip around the wheel and over the wheel's hook (if that makes sense).
Is the only way to deal with this to remove the center console? I'd like to avoid that. It slipped off when I pulled the e-brake up high, I suspect the right side is frozen and the wheel rotated too much without equal resistance from both sides. However if I lift the e-brake to move the wheel then the wheel moves too far forward to be able to attach it.
