Hey everyone, recently I’ve bought an Audi a4 2004 3.0l and I’ve had some success with fixing a lot on it so for. Today I’m asking here to see if anyone has any idea what is going on here!, someone sliced into the abs module connector and cut a green wire and a black wire near the top. Pin 3,4? I believe?. Then directly wired it to the Female abs sensor connecter and wired to the green and black wires. On the sensor. Now my first questing is Why? Why would somebody ever do this.? There is also a black and brown wire on the female sensor aswell. But someone left the black and brown wires alone. And bypassed the original wiring harness from the sensor to the abs module connector.? Now i’m in the midst of fixing all this. But i’m not going anywhere. I’ve tried to restore the oem wiring and still nothing. I’ve replaced and coded the abs module and nothing. And of course I’ve broken the abs female connector 2 times. The first time I broke it was by accidentally cutting the extremely short wire so short that I had to get into the female abs sensor housing and then proceeded to try and get some wire in there to extend it. The second time I broke it was earlier today. I got a female abs sensor connecter from the junk yard a couple days ago and had to take the pins out of the connector and insert them into my connector and then super glue the wires into place. Since the connector I got from the junk yard was for a abs sensor without self leveling headlights. So my female connector wouldn’t house the male abs sensor connecter. Basically the green wire snapped off and the super glued pin is still in there. Big L I know. But I’ve tried almost everything at this point. I even tired wiring the sensor directly to the abs middle connector. With the green and black connected and the brown and black wires connecting to the 2 wires from someone else’s work that run up to the abs module and connecter my female sensor brown and black to those wires and plugged the module in. Put my wheel on with 2 lug bolts. And proceeded to spin the wheel while watching vcds wheel speed and also holding the sensor wire up so it wouldn’t rub the tire. I’ve tried testing conductivity. From the green and black wires. To the pins on the abs module. I’ve tried plugging the abs module connector back in and testing the wires from down stream to up. On the connectors green and black wires and no beeps or ohms. I’ve got a brake light switch on the way but. I’ve got a big problem
