If it looks like the coolant is coming from the front of the engine then it could be your water pump failing. Tell tail signs are coolant splatting from the pulley flinging it around and/or dried residue on the front components like the snub mount. Leaks from the drivers’ side of the block could be any of the hoses from the thermostat or the J-plug. If doing the thermostat, replace the J plug at the same time. To see if it’s leaking from that side, take a light and shine it in between the intake runners and see if coolant is pooling anywhere close to those areas. Hoses and pipe orings going to and from the thermostat may also fail and leak.

It also could be your heater hose which tend to start leaking if it has never been done before. Usually it’s the Oring inside the connector that goes but the hose end also tend to crack and break when they are toast.

Water pump, thermostat or Jplug. I would put good money on Jplug.

Get a billet J-plug if you are going in there and removing the thermostat. You'll never had to worry about it again. Getting the old one out is going to be fun and you will have to pull the thermostat out to fish out the broken bits of plastic remaining in there.
