Hood cable? Just buy that new. They get rusty inside, and know to snap.
The billet lever from ECS is pretty sweet too. Lot more confident pulling on it.

Yeah.... I already went this route and it ended up being too short by about an inch no matter how I routed it. Just looking to get something OEM that I know would work rather than trying to find needle in the haystack.

Was it an OEM part? Did you measure it against the old one before installing?
I never replaced one so can't help there, sorry. But I would just go with OEM, not off eBay/Amazon, etc.
FCP has a genuine one for $50..
