    Anyone attempted oxygen sensor replacements?

I'm getting intermittent P2096 and P2196 codes. I saw the TSB for it and was going to try to do the O2 sensors myself - they look fairly accessible for an Audi lol. Just wondering if anyone has attempted this themselves or if it's best left to a pro. I'm fairly mechanical and have plenty of tools (just need to pick up an O2 socket). I figured while I was doing it I'd just do all 4 - car is a '14 S7 with 110k miles.

The two that are on the driver side of the car are very easy as the electrical connectors are on top by the coolant reservoir. The two on the passenger side.........just be prepared to curse a bit, contort your arms and hands into strange and binding locations and then curse a bit more. You can access the electrical connectors by removing the passenger front tire, remove the cover and heat shield around the axle shaft, and then look towards the front of the car. The hole is just barely big enough to put one hand through so while not impossible, it is frustrating.

Great thank you for the info! Based on my codes above I think those are the ones I need to get to - so that's lucky.

Does anyone have a CLEAR diagram of which sensor is which? I've watched numerous videos and looked at a several diagrams - all with conflicting information. I *think* for my P2096 I need to replace the downstream sensor (B1S2) which is actually on the driver side, closest to the firewall.

Rockauto has two different Bosch part numbers for this sensor - 16528 and 16327....anyone know the difference or which one is correct? The 16327 has the "favorite" icon with it, but I'd like some clarification is there is any.

B1S2 will be on the driver side of the car but is the post cat sensor (G139) for bank 1 (passenger bank). It actually looks like both part numbers come back to the OE number 4H0906262L. It should be downstream and have a black connector. The B1S1 and B2S2 have brown connectors.

Right on, that lines up with what sense I've been able to make of it.
