    B7 rs4: brakes won’t bleed

Can’t bleed the damn brakes, noticed the car had a spongy pedal., come to find out the rear caliper nipple was stripped, so the entire caliper got replaced.

I’ve tried pressure bleeding, manual bleeding.
Now I’m to the point where no more air is coming out of the lines.
Vcds does not have an output test feature for the abs on this car.

What the hell am I missing here, is there air trapped in the abs / master cylinder ?

Is the master cylinder shot ?

I left the system under pressure last night and there are no break fluid leaks anywhere.

This car is beginning to turn into a pain in my ass :)

Edit : Was just told the car was fine before I got it.
So there must be air in the system.
Any tips, maybe lowering one side of the car, to help get it out ?

Sometimes you need to give it a couple good panic stops to activate the abs, then try bleeding again

There was literally no brakes at all. I wouldn’t have been able to do that.

But last night I left the system under pressure. No leaks. So I tried jacking up the front of the car higher than the rear. And that solved the problem. A shit load of air came out.
    Brakes are bled !!!
