Hi guys, new to the forum. i have a 2004 audi a3 sportback fsi 2.0 petrol vehicle. The issue i am having is a rough idle but not to the extent that it stills. after using an obdeleven VAG scanner received above description and fault code. this makes absolutely no sense to me first the vacuum to the servo is from the intake manifold, so no vacuum pump to speak off and therefore open circuit is invalid. At a guess i am think of a sense that may sit on the servo but cant find one. I will check the brake booster valve and operation of the servo and vacuum hoses but can't think of anything else. Would appreciate if someone out there has had a similar problem could provide me with a fix.

    Cheers Phil

Ok so i have thrown out the hayes manual which was absolutely useless in my matters. Now i do have an electric fuel pump with a 3 pin relay. so now the diagnostics that i got from the scanner is making more sense. Now it is a matter of testing the electric vacuum pump
