    Weirdest high speed vibration issue

    Hey there

So I recently got my 4 OEM wheels straightened, bought 4 new high perf tyres, balanced and aligned. As soon as I got out of the shop, it was amazing, smooth, no vibration, nothing.

But now, every first ride of the day on the highway, I have a vibration like a totally unbalanced wheel. Then, if I get out of the highway and do some city driving for a few min, then go back on the highway, no more vibration.

Never had such issue in 15 years of driving different cars, VW and Audis.

    What could cause this ?

    Thanks

What kind of tires? Do you have them properly inflated? It almost sounds like a flat spot but that is something that takes a while to develop.

On my C7, when an engine mount goes, I get a vibration that feels like an unbalanced wheel.

Yeah this sounds like an engine/transmission issue more than wheels. What transmission?
