I’ve retrofitted my 2.0 TDI Audi A6 C7 from FWD to Quattro – not my first time doing it. The process itself was fairly straightforward: used the rear subframe and drivetrain components from a 3.0 TDI Quattro donor, including the rear ABS sensors.
The ABS module is: 4G0 907 379 H
To get ABS working correctly with the new Quattro layout and rear sensors, I applied the following long coding:
27A68701E465C180DB00
(This code was provided to me and accepted without issue; ABS and ESP are working fine now.)
However, I still have an active TPMS error in the cluster (Tire Pressure Monitoring). The car originally had indirect TPMS (RKA+), which is still enabled in the ABS coding.
Here’s the issue:
When I attempt to disable the TPMS bit in the ABS module (Byte 4 or Byte 8 depending on structure), I get:
“Coding rejected – incorrect message length or invalid format.”

I’ve already successfully disabled TPMS in:
[17 - Instruments], [5F - Information Electr.]
Has anyone successfully coded out TPMS? Is it possible this ABS module requires TPMS active or is my coding wrong? Or do I need ODIS?
I’m open to enabling TPMS again if it can be made to work with the 3.0 rear sensors, but ideally I’d prefer to disable it cleanly.
Thanks in advance!
