Coolant solenoids N649 and N489 Audi part numbers

Hello all -

I've searched the forums and I am coming up empty. I am trying to locate the Audi part numbers for solenoid N649 - controls the water pump diaphragm and N489 - controls the coolant shut off valve. 2018 B9/S4. Would really appreciate some help with this one.

Assuming you're talking about the 3.0T CWGD engine, you want to look at the vacuum system page, 133-052, not the coolant system pages. The vacuum solenoid is 037906283C for through MY20, then 037906283F for MY21+.

Item 7 is the solenoid, shown twice. The upper one is the N649, and you see it routes to the water pump (30). The lower one is the N489, and it routes to the coolant shut-off valve (31).

I believe this is what you are looking for. Save some money. It’s exactly the same one as OEM.
