I'm struggling to find a definitive answer on this so thought time to thow it out there.

I'm working on my 2005 a4 cabriolet, fixing whats broke and upgrading what i can, and getting to the point at which i can start looking at tunes.

Motozila was recommended to me on here and thats the route ill go. It looks a fantastic service with clear upgrade paths.

I'm preparing to grab a diverter and set of injectors. My question is will a bone stock engine support the 440cc green giants without a tune or should i aim to install them at a later date and tune immediately?

Yah, injectors are one of those bolt on mods you must have a re-map done to account for the change in flow.
