I got a pair of brackets from you and they are SWEET!!!!!

Would you consider making brackets for the rear to fit the brembo caliper from a 2015 q7?

I’m glad you like the setup.

I think someone is making a bracket like the “Vosh mods style” for the rear with the electric parking brake.
I didn’t because, I used the 356mm rear like the c7 s6 and it didn’t like the cost to performance ratio to be worth it for me.

My understanding is that the Q5/macan bolt up just like on the S4/5 so these would locate the Q7/RS5 caliper and rotors properly.

Very tempted to try running these on my b5 project, but I’m also curious if somehow the stock 4m caliper bracket will lineup without grinding.

If you can it’s a great caliper because it’s readily available and not too expensive, there are several different pad compounds available as well. The rotors would have to be custom because the center bore is probably too big for the b5, but maybe you could bolt on a b8 bearing assembly.

I really liked this setup on my old B8.5 S4 but I didn’t have your bracket, just someone else’s on here.

Provided the CB is bigger than then hub and the rotors have the same bolt pattern, then I’m honestly not sure that the CB being bigger on the rotor will matter other than dictating that I need to run wheels with a CB of 66.6 to accommodate the rotor.

I’m not an expert and logic originally made me think this wasn’t possible and would lead to some sort of crazy vibration once moving, but I’m not so sure anymore. I say I’m not sure because, I bought what was supposed to be a Brembo GT4 355x32 kit for the b5 project but it turned out to actually be a terribly painted over stoptech st-40 332x32 kit - anyway this is only relevant because the rotor hats on the stoptech kit has a CB well larger than 66.6 (can’t recall exactly what it was but it’s not 57.1 or 66.6) and it got me wondering what would happen if you ran a rotor with a larger CB? The bolt pattern should still hold the rotor to the hub, just not tightly around the CB - maybe hub centric rings would work between the hub and rotor - and then just using a B8 wheel with the larger CB, but if this nearly 20 year old stoptech kit had a larger CB than the B5s or B6s it was designed for, then I guess I’m curious why this would be any different.

Last, the B8 calipers bolt right up (so I’m told) to the B5 S4 uprights and the 345mm Macan swap is popular, so I would assume this kit could likely do the same and bring a new monster caliper and rotor option to the B5s I’ve yet to see be run. The biggest downside is the cost of rotors + a custom bracket as it’s unfortunately much more costly than doing an 18z upgrade.

Very tempting to try this still as I think everything should be a direct fit. If anyone has any input on the CB it would be greatly appreciated!

If the b8’s bolt up then it’s a no brainer, the pads and calipers are inexpensive, the rotors are not cheap unless you get the all steel ones from like a partsgeek but then you give one of the advantages. The brackets are not cheap but give the use of the best rotors and allows for even stock wheels to work without spacers.

Best wishes. I hope this works for you as it will open a new market for me. :).

Great set up and have been running it on my B8.5, stopping power is incredible and the look is fantastic as well. Kudos to B18b1ex for putting these adapters (perfect fit and great quality) and the config out there!

I’m so glad you like it and thanks for the review. I love them on my S4 and added the same calipers to my b9.5 SQ5.

“added the same calipers to my b9.5 SQ5.”

    Doesn’t the b9.5 sq5 already have the same size 6-piston calipers ?

They are 6 piston not the same, the Sq5 can only use the smaller rotors 350mm x 34mm, with the change it becomes 375mmx36mm.

Do you have any idea what the hat height is for the 350mm rotors? If not then carry on. 350x34 would be perfect for an 18z setup on prior model lines.
