Audi transmission fluid change- interval and cost?

Got my oil change- Yeah I know I dont need to go to the dealer but its once a year and not THAT much more expensive than doing it somewhere else. My 2019 audi A6 is at 47k miles and the dealer said I was overdue on a transmission fluid change.

Got a quote and they said its $830. im not sure how I feel about doing it myself. Never done it before and one wrong move and im replacing a transmission

1- Does that sound correct in regards to cost of the fluid change?
2- should being over the interval by so much be a cause for concern?

please let me know. Im comfortable doing everything else on my own (brakes, plugs) but not sure how comfortable I am doing this one myself.

I am not sure of the cost but it should be done every 40k according to maintenance guide. Im at 38,5xx miles now so I need to start looking at getting pricing but I may just do it myself. from the guides ive seen its no real difference than the DSG service I did on my VW's.

Do you have any link to DIY, it sounds straight forward.

I havent found any good straight forward writeups for the C8 but im planning on following this video. its for a same generation a4 but same trans

there is also a post on audiworld about doing the work where some one else chimed in on them doing it themself and no issues. it really does look straight forward as long as you have Vagcom/ ODIS or simular, the adapter for the trans and a pump or tube to fill it. The biggest warning ive seen is that you should not add more than 3.5l of fluid as the trans has a shared breather between the section that uses the DSG and MTF and if you over fill it it will mix and they basically say to replace the trans.

I did mine at 60K, but just a drain and fill. pretty easy, drained it, then with a fluid transfer syringe filled it back up until it started coming out the fill hole. took maybe 20 minutes?

I did mine and wrote about it here: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-...hange-3045827/

It was so easy. I'm now at about 75k miles and will be doing it again soon.
