    Fuel Pump Wiring Diagram

I'm trying to wire in a bigger fuel pump that pulls its power directly from the battery. But the pump is turned on by a relay that is triggered from the stock harness. Can anyone help diagnose what the four wires going in there now are, or pass along a diagram for how to run the relay?

If you pull the plug it will be fairly obvious which wires are used for the pump. There are two big wires. One positive, one negative. You can use the signal from the OEM relay to trigger a SPDT relay hooked up directly to the battery. Choose a ground of your liking. There are a few bolts under the seat. If you are not sure of which wire is which, you can test for ground which is usually brown. You can also test for +ve with a volt meter. If you don’t have the tools then you can pop off the top hat of the fuel pump and pull it and it will be color coded. Black or brown for ground. I believe the pump will also be marked + and -.
