HELP WITH FITMENT, upgrading wheels to 20x10 with spacers and lowered suspension

    Hi all,

I am hoping to install a set of new 20 inch TSW wheels on my 2011 S5 B8.
I know this has been discussed at length, but despite going through some quite a few of the forums on here, I'm still on the fence as to whether I'll be able to fit these without rubbing.
I am running the H+R OE sport springs which lower me ~1 inch

My current tire/wheel setup is with the stock 19x8.5 inch peelers (32mm offset) and 255/35 tires, with 15mm spacers in the front and 20mm in the back.
Stance is pretty good, and I don't notice any rubbing with this fitment.

I have the 20x10 TSWs in hand with 40mm offset (wish I could've done the 25mm, but they are out of production). I am planning on putting them on 275/30 Michelin Pilot Sports 4S.
With this 40mm offset, I was planning on putting 10mm spacers on the back and 5mm on the front, which by my calculation keeps the overall offset about the same (+1mm all around)

With this wider wheel, beefier tire, my H+R springs, and the spacers, am I going to run into issues with rubbing?
I can't return the wheels once I've mounted the tires, so don't have much of an option for a "trial and error" unfortunately.

    Thanks. DD

    I have a 2016 S5 with H&R OE Sport springs and I'm running 275/30/20 Michelin AS4's on 20x10 et25 wheels. No rubbing at all.

You will need to run spacers with your new wheels if you want to keep the same look as your original wheels with the spacers. You'd need about 5mm spacers in front and 10mm spacers in the rear to get about the same flush fitment.
