What's a good width and offset for wheels for the C6's... non RS6?

It would seem that a 9.5-10" width would work on these cars considering how large they are, but does anyone have any idea?

I'm running a 20x9 ET45 with 265/30s. I'm on coilovers, this is the height I drive at and I don't scrub. I haven't ever rolled the lip or trimmed any fender liners. I've cleared some pretty big speed bumps without issue too.

^ wow... and you're pretty flush too. I was looking at a 20x10 +40, but after looking at your car I doubt it will fit. I think a 20x9 +35 may work w/ some fender rolling.

Your stance looks perfect, what coilovers are you running? I plan to order some KW V3's next month.

I test fitted a set of 20x9 ET35 with 265/30s and they absolutly will NOT work at my ride height. No amount of rolling will keep the tire off the sheetmetal. You MIGHT be able to get away with it if you're running a 245/30. 255/30 would be rolling the dice on unexpected bodywork IMHO. I'm running H&R coilovers part number 29201-1, not the same as the ones in the states. Mine are way on the stiff side as far as ride goes. Mine are spun pretty far UP too, I could spin it down and tuck the entire tire and some rim but then I'd definately have contact on the body and a turning radius rivaling the Titanic. I spent a couple days dialing in the ride height. Thanks.

^Thanks so much for your input, it really helps quite a bit. I'll probably just run the narrower tire and attempt the 245/30. I think this new TSW wheel looks pretty good on the C6 so I though i'd give it a shot.

thanks, and yes, my screen name on vortex and club b5/pw was b5bel. i don't have the p/n for the grill anymore, and as of recently it is no longer in the audi parts catalog. it may of been there by mistake, since north america never got a black optics s6. it took me over a month to get that grill with numerous calls made to audi by my parts manager. but, you can always check at your local dealer. who knows, it may be back in there.

YES. I know its a concave design but wasnt sure if people normally call it that! I searched all over the place and can't find ANY concave wheels. I have searched for about a month now.

Look at DPE, ADV 1,Vossen and VMR also has some nice designs that are concave... the main problem is that they won't be VERY concave due to the fact that the offset is somewhat high on these narrow bodied A6/S6's.
