I am a new Audi owner and I am not sure how Audi does their stuff. But I am very curious.

My brandnew SQ5 wheel has a scar from the factory as you can see from this picture. It isnt noticable if you never knew it existed. But it will be very annoying once you see it.

The scar is clearly underneath the Polish and Paints. That means the wheel came off the prosuctions lines being like this. This means Quality Controls related. My questions are so

1/ is this deemed Passable to Audi ? I understand it is cosmetic. But if it was a Huyndai or Toyota then it wouldnt bother me. But on an Audi ?

2/ if Audi QC is more strictful than this, then what do they usually do ?

I wouldn't consider that significant enough to not pass. My RS3 had a small paint defect from the factory. You could always bring it to the attention of the dealership, maybe they swap wheels.

Thanks, I have contacted dealer. Lets see what they will say. These stuff if happened by me then it is not a bother. But especially comming off from a brannew car seeing it this way is very bothersome
