I picked up a set of rims that had some curb rash. With a bit of effort & sandpaper. Numerous amount of colour samples. I think I got it. Rims are BC forage 22x11 +12 on stock tires. Just a little stretch. Guy that mounted the rim told me to run it at 45 psi it sounds a little extreme to me. Thoughts?

I usually look in the owners manual but it is interesting that the sticker in the door says 41 all around. I find that at 45 you can feel the difference in the ride.

I know the door says 40 psi, but the guy that mounted the tires on the rims told me that because the tires now have a little stretch, I would have to keep it higher at 45 psi. just truing to verify this.

For some reason your pic isn't showing for me but I can see the pic posted below of the owner manual

Are you running the stock summer tires 285x22zr30 p zero pz4? Those specific tires were already stretched on a 10.5 and might be unsafe to drive on a 11"

He might be telling you to run more air thinking it will help keep the tire from snapping off on a high speed turn or something

Should probably just stick with the owner manual psi if they are stock. If you move to a wider tire hmu, I've been playing around with 315x22s and 295x21s since I got new wheels and feel like I have the psi dialed in for those
