    2018 TTRS... Street brake pad recommendations?

    I am getting the 034 floating rotors for front/back and need to pair them with some pads. Want street pads, low dust (ceramic?), keep the sensor, and low noise if possible.

    Do you have any experiences to share/suggest?

    And I would like them also to have a hot blonde sister who is into Audi TTRS guys. (If the wish list wasn't already impossible!)

    That's why it's called the tiTTy =)

    I've used the 034 front rotors, also the rears for bling. You'll notice the weight savings. Carbotech pads should be ok, depending on your power level. Or Ferodo DS2500. On your stock pads, cut off the pig tail so you have the connector, solder the two wires together and that's your plug. Run some Castrol SRF fluid (good for street too, longer change times, high wet temps). Get some SS lines, I had 034 lines. Make sure you bed the pads to procedure (I cheated and results were crummy).

    I still wasn't satisfied, so I went with AP 9660 brakes = bliss.

    Whatever pad you choose, if it's a good one it will give off dust, just how it works. Lots of good wash chemicals to make it easier. The ceramics are meh. Trade dust for performance? nah, too many herspers to wrangle, lol.

    Castrol SRF is not needed for street cars and sucks in cold weather. SRF get "thicker" the lower temp gets. Bosch 5.1 isvery good LV fluid. For brake pads love Endless ,my other car has mx72 compound and low dust pads are junk. Real cars make brake dust.

    When I installed my Girodisc, they said OEM pads are fine but their Magic Pads will provide for better performance. I went with their pads because they are designed/approved for use with their rotors.
    Street pads have better cold performance and are more resistant to fading than OEM.
    I totally purchased the rears for the same bling reason.

    Girodisc discontinued their Magic pads. They recommend PFC and Hawk now.

    Hawk. Not sure about their quality. Had yeo sets that delaminated and had do warranty claim. This wason Passat. Tried Porterfield R4S on a4 that we used to have. For now use Endless i got directly from Japan which was much cheaper that buying with NA distribution but it takes many weeks to get them..full sets of MX72 and SSM-plus.

    OEM pads are fine for spirited road use, and even for (but no more than) a couple of laps at track
    ferodo DS 2500 much better in track, but with poor response at cold for street use and no wear sensor
    Brembo HP2 have sensor and offer good compromise for street&track use on OEM discs, but found them horrible on Giro (probably due to slots on disc), a lot of vibrations in hot condition
    Ferodo DS1 also have sensor, and have quite similar performace of the OEM, just slightly more resistant to fading in track

    all the above mentioned pads tested with both OEM and Giro discs, street and track
