Anyone know anything about the DMF?

I tried posting in audi world and had no response on this. That forum seems kind of dead for some reason. Maybe there's more folks here.

Recently purchased a 2016 A6 , FWD with 2.0T and 7 speed S tronic. It has 106K miles. The cabin vibrates a lot when I release the brake when in reverse. Never does it in D or other gear. Also, I have a slight cabin vibration at idle in park. I've already replaced the trans mount with little to no improvement. I am now honing in on a problem with the DMF. Can it be the dual mass flywheel worn out, loose, or unbalanced? I can't imagine that it would be already worn out. Replacing this thing requires dropping the trans which I have never done. Interestingly, I found a TSB very much describing my issue, even heard that slight noise. I plan on just unbolting the bolts and re-torqueing to 60nm on the drive plate. Will I screw something up? Is there a good chance I can improve the issue? https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...33298-9999.pdf

I visually inspected DMF, and don't really see much. It does make some noise, and there's a metallic clunk when shutting down the engine. I was about the take on the TSB job only to find that I didn't have a 16 mil 12 point socket for the bolts. Needs to be as low profile as possible, so I didn't manage to re-tighten these bolts (ordered the socket) but here's some photo/video of the DMF:

I was able to finally loosen and tighten three bolts on the drive plate. It was kind of hard because the socket I bought from amazon was about 1 inch long (16mm socket, 12 point) and I couldn't find anything shorter. So, it did not fit when I combined it in with torque wrench. The area is very small, so I cut that thing about 1/2 inch shorter. Lots of sparks flew but I managed to cut it evenly and was able to do the job, tightened to 60nm. Test drove and sadly, maybe a little less vibrating, but the vibrations in reverse are still there. Very annoying. Do any of you think perhaps a DSG fluid change and/or replacing the engine mounts will make a difference?

for my bitdi, when i take the plastic shield of the oil pan off, I can see the engine mounts. it s pretty common to have the passenger side mount leaking (had mine as well, changed both) - this wouldn t really make sense to be the issue, as you should always feel the vibration not only in reverse. sorry I can t help you more, prolly someone that works in gearbox reconditioning should know more.

Thanks. I am probably going to do the engine mounts next although I don't see any fluid leaking from them nor does the engine move excessively when revving. There is only a slight idle vibration (as the rpms go low) and then quite a bad cabin vibration when I start moving in reverse. There are no vibrations when moving in drive and transmission shifts quite smoothly overall. When the vibrations are present at idle, if i rev the engine just a little higher, they go away. I really think maybe the engine mounts are due.
