Took apart Sq5 rear brake calibers and for my surprise one pin from both calibers have a rubber sleeve over it so to say. Does anybody know the reason? I can't put my finger on it.

I think it acts as an anit-vibration/anti-squeal buffer. I think they sell just the rubber as a replacement.
