All of you were very helpful in helping me pick out my 2016 SQ5 (b8.5). I’ve had it for nearly 6 years as it has been very reliable outside of water pump( under warranty) , control arms and some minor repairs( all maintenance done annually at an Audi dealership ). It only has 51,000 miles on it but will need new front brakes tires and the next maintenance cycle is expensive ( all in ~$5k) so I have been eyeing a 2022 S5 sportback, but I am concerned I will regret giving up my reliable car for a potential headache. the car I’m looking at has a CPO on it and only has 25,000 miles and no chip shortage. it does have some oil changes and front brakes done at Midas, which is a little concerning. do you guys have any thoughts or advice?
