Audi A4 10.2 inch screen HELP

Recently bought a carplay screen for 2009 audi a4 with audi multimedia but i just realized that my car is audi symphony. if i install it would it still work correctly properly or will it just not work

We can't know. If the product is specifically for MMI 2G, no, it's not going to be able to even interface with the radio unit quad-block connector. And the screen interface signal is completely different. But units for MMI 2G are rare. Are you sure it was for MMI 2G and not CAN bus radio, or actually for MY10+ MMI 3G? (Q5 is the only MY09 B8 with MMI 3G)

here is the link where i bought it from. it says it won’t fit audi symphony(my car) but i was wondering if its some stuff that wont work or everything

That's only for MMI 3G, see the 2nd pic in the listing showing the only dash unit it supports, the one that says Audi multimedia. MY09 A4 is MMI 2G, the dash unit says Audi cd changer. So that unit isn't going to work in any MY09 A4.

You need to return that unit and find a unit that specifically supports B8 Concert / Symphony (they are the same radio except Concert is 1-disc and Symphony is 6-disc).

MMI 2G High, MMI 3G Basic, MMI 3G High/Plus, Chorus radio, and Concert/Symphony radio are all different video screen interface signals. The aftermarket unit must support the type of infotainment system you have for it to work at all.
