Will I get a check engine light ?

Hi ,
2017 rs3 currently running a 034 stage 1 e85 tune . Im getting a catless downpipe installed but plan on keeping the stage 1 tune until install intercooler ect.

Will I get a CEL due to the downpipe ? Or does the stage 1 tune also disable the CEL.

Yes. Even if you get a stage 2 tune you will get one. This is because tuners can no longer disable CEL's. You'll have to play around with o2 spacer to get rid of the CEL.
