Rnse nav unit fan coming on when car is off

Sounds as if a fan is spinning, loud and annoying. It even happens if the car is off and a door is opened.
You can hear it spin for about 20 seconds and then come to a stop.

Does anyone have a solution ?

It shouldn't make noise, just some cd dvd sounds, maybe de drive is worn out, it's replaceable. Does it reads navigation dvd? I'm using it normally with a 2020 (latest) original.

The drive is making more noise/sound if there is no dvd or bad reading one, it keep on searching and trying to read.

Totally sounds like a spinning object. Especially when it slows down and comes to a stop.
It sounds as if you were to try to stop a fan with your hand

    Hi !
Had the RNS-E (192) and now I have RNS-E PU (193)... I can certainly confirm that the fan is indeed spinning on both units after turning them off if used for enough time to get 'em warmed up.
However, this operation lasts for about a minute or so, until there's no accessory current after taking the key out (about as long as the hazard lights switch stays on) and it should be very quiet... you could barely hear it even from very close.
