What I'm doing to my TT

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Getting around to tackling my TT project.
Looking to connect with other TT enthusiasts in the Tacoma- Seattle area.
Just got the engine out.... Decided to do it to change my break light fluid.
The forum has gone a little slow,
    I will be getting into:
    1. pistons and rods
    2. clutch
    3. Upgrading all plastic vacuum and coolant lines/hoses

    Immediate questions:
    1. Has anyone successfully replaced the lens of their headlights? I have restored the surface a few times.
    2. Anyone have the electrical covers on the back of the headlight assemblies?

The lenses aren't that hard to remove. You can either carefully use a heat gun to soften the sealant or put them in the oven. There are videos on YouTube showing how to do both.

I bought a set of the rear cover off of eBay. They are easy to lose or break.
