    Headlights and DRL

On the 2013 I’ve noticed my DRL leds are starting to lose some of their white punch, that is I see a little “yellowing.” Wondering, what if I just turn off DRLs and use the main headlights all the time instead? Surely the cost of xenon bulbs is cheaper than a new headlight assembly.

yeah I've definitely noticed some lack of brightness in my DRLs not necessarily yellowing though... I believe you can turn off the DRLs in the MMI settings but I haven't done it so I'm not sure.

You can turn up the DRL brightness with VCDS and many other OBD tools, maybe a little more intensity will bring out some white.

Otherwise, not only can you buy replacement DRL LED modules but you can also buy replacement DRL light tubes, hell they even sell a kit; you’d have to take the headlight apart however to complete these swaps which isn’t too hard.

Does anybody know if that kit will fix the LED module code? When I get this code is it that little circuit board that comes with the kit (https://www.ebay.com/itm/196848465293) that goes bad or the is LED Module for DRL and Parking Light something else? Thanks
