    WTB: RNSE faceplate for A6/allroad/RS6

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Looking for RNSE faceplate for A6/allroad/RS6 like the one pitcured New or used, in good condition, doesn't matter if it comes with RNSE unit in any condition (working or not).

I am easy to deal with: quick payment and I'll supply the shipping label if located anywhere other than central Virginia.

    I have a complete working C5 RNS-E.

Usual going rate for gen one is $450.

This one is in great condition as well.

Thank you. I am sure your RNSE unit is worth the price you are asking. But let me see if I can find a faceplate on its own first (cheaper solution). If not, I'll be back in touch.

I saw sellers asking up to 200 for a piece of plastic, so you could as well take whole thing for 450, and possibly making some money selling the rest of it without the face, or make even more selling screen, dvd drive, and other parts

I paid 200 for one off eBay, it was not worth it at all. Find an entire unit that is already C5 fitted and run it. I swapped the faceplate from a B7 RNS-E to the C5, it literally was not worth the trouble it gave me. I paid around 400$ total for wiring, faceplate, and the RNS-E Unit, roughly as much as if I just bought the unit outright, since I could use the spare parts from it as well if something went wrong attempting the swap.

If you desire, you can always attempt to buy the C5 Faceplate and and swap it to the 193 Model RNS-E, which I have also done and enjoyed much more than attempting it on the 192 Model. Would've loved to just buy an entire C5 unit for parts while doing so because these things are getting older and more fragile as they age... Check out this as well for software things: https://rnse.pcbbc.co.uk

I appreciate the suggestions. I currently have both a 192 and 193 RNSE unit (both fully functioning) and the A6 C5 faceplate I had was damaged in the process of swapping it from one to the other - I made a stupid mistake, don't ask.

You are beginning to see why I don't need yet another 192 unit and looking to acquire just the faceplate instead.

I am in contact with two breakers parting out as many 2005 allroads with factory RNSE. Dealing with this type of outfits is painful (language, logistics, etc.), hence my preference to locate what I am looking for on the forums if at all possible.

No worries, same thing happened to me. Best of luck, if I see anything I'll update.

I can make one for you if you have a stock radio faceplate to start with.

Thank you. I thought about scanning and 3D printing one as well. Let's give it some more time and see if anything turns up first.
