The warranty was a Z series from CNA National Warranty Corporation. They have covered, the timing chain, replacement sway bar links, high pressure fuel pump, engine mounts, a rear door actuator and most of that was while its been chipped. Only the high pressure pump was with the car being stock. Bommarito has been great. A3 or A4 loaners everytime. As long as you tell them you need a loaner when scheduling service. My aftermarket warranty even allowed lowering the car. Which I did! Towing was included. You can buy a aftermarket warranty for most of these cars now. Not just when you buy it from the dealer but after the fact. Shop around. I found one for $2400 that covered something like 60000 miles or 5 years. For the cost to keep one of these things, it is very much worth it.
Been seeing you on here a lot. I actually bought the car from Beuckman Ford across the street from Bommarito Audi. Bommarito was able to give me the cars history since the previous owner had them do all the service since she moved to STL. They did the tear down and re-ringed the engine for the oil consumption issues before I bought it.
Yeah, I am on here quite a bit. It's a fun group of guys to talk with.
Would be interested to see how your stage 2 APR pulls compared to my GIAC stage 2.
I had my oil consumption done at Plaza since they are near my house. Car came from Florida since there were no manuals around when I was looking.
Sounds like you find a nice warranty.
I'm in T&C, just below Bellerive, FYI.
Just an FYI on a possible class action lawsuit regarding the timing tensioner. I'm not sure the validity of this link, but hopefully it's true and can help many, if not all of us.

We should link up with the VW guys and have everyone ship their replaced tensioners to AOA.
....this thread makes me giggle; very reminiscent of my previous days browsing the B6/7 S forum
