I love my Audi's but a stock rs6 would have been more interesting. How pissed would you be if you lost and had almost 300 extra horses?

stock RS6 is 572bhp, pretty sure it would have been a slaughter. Given how this one only passed after it was able to spool with 270 more.

what is that, like a 2 mile race? 250+ HP difference between the 2 and maybe 500-700 pound difference. 1 is built to shatter times on race tracks (GTR), heck it even outperforms cars 3 times its price tag.
I agree with UM-PIMP, not really fair...

Simple fact is that if you put 1/2 the amount of money it cost to mod that audi into the GTR, there would not be enough road for that audi to catch that GTR.

GTR's are no joke. My buddy has one, it's recockulous.

Yeah with the GT-R's "launch" feature, im not suprised it takes off like that compared to the rs6.. That launch feature allows it to hit 0-60 faster than the average lambo/ferrari supercar.

You could argue that any car above a big engine'd family sedan is built for the track(or go one further and say even those are designed in part for WRC, or any other racing event that includes ordinary cars), that doesn't stop us from comparing their 0-60mph times. The GT-R manages 60 in under 4 seconds, and has a 180+MPH top speed, even after being 'built for the track' I would say that qualifies it to be excluded from that.. exclusion. A Mazda miata maybe.. but a 480HP coupe, not so much. Not mentioning that the RS6 doesn't *just* work in a straight line.

are you trying to say that a GT-R is only for straight line racing? Or may i add are you saying a miata is only for straight line racing?

I'm saying you can't say the GTR is a track-only designed car that just happens by accident to do 0-60 in 3.5seconds *and* 180+mph.. a Miata is a *real* track only car.
