Fuel Pump done?

Any input anyone?

I dont know if you'll hear the fuel pump "whine" over the engine cranking, but you should turn the key to the on position and hear something. Or get a battery and hook up some wires to it and give the pump power. It could also be that your fuel filter is very clogged and is not letting any fuel get through.

how many miles sine u last replaced the fuel filter that you know? What mileage is your S4 at now? do you have a stage 3?

The stock fuel pump does make noise. If you ever take out your rear seats you'll know what I mean! I have an Bosch 044 now because my stock died about a month ago. My car was getting hard to start, then in a log of 3rd gear saw how lean I was running in the mid RPM range then dumping fuel up top for the sake of the engine! Get it taken care of. I don't believe your fuel filter would out of no where allow NO gas through, that sounds like a fuel pump issue.
