So I put 3mm spacers from ecs tuning on my fronts to clear the steering knuckle with 255 tires, and I started getting a little vibration when letting off the gas at 80mph. Foot on the gas at any mph is completely fine.
After swapping out those spacers for a 10mm one with a hub portrusion the shaking got worse. but still around 80mph. Is the spacers just exacerbating another problem possible with the tie rod ends or is it the spacers themselves that are the problem?
Shook both front wheels off the up and down off ground, not play.
Before anyone asks wire brush cleaned both hubs and put anti seize before putting the wheel on, as well as using the wheel hanger to line up the wheel and spacer 100%perfectly.
Admittedly ecs sent me both conical and ball seat lug bolts even though I only ordered ball seats, and I accidentally put the conical on one of my wheels and torqued them all down. I didn't drive on it and realizing the problem I immediately took the wheel off and swapped the lug bolts for ball seat ones. It did leave a little indent on each of the seats for the lugs but the bolts still seat just fine, do yall think that would cause the problem?
